The Entrepreneurship Development Club aims to inculcate entrepreneurship qualities in students and provide them an exposure to the industrial scenario of the state. The ED club serves as a conduit by which students can access entrepreneurnial resources, network with community entrepreneurs, and share ideas. The club was started in 2017 with Mr. P.A.Babu as the coordinator. After his transfer in 2018, Mrs.Shija.T.G took over the reins and has been coordinating the activities of the club to the present day. The ED club of St.Sebastian’s HSS Kuttikad has been actively organising activities to hone the skills of the students and inculcate entrepreneurial qualities in them. Some of the activities that the club has done are small scale production of:
- Umbrella making.
- Candle making.
- Soap, detergents and handwash.
- Making carrybags.
The ED club has also set up stalls successfully during the course of events like the school annual day, youth festival and also the Sub-district Kalolsavam. Industrial visits were also a part of the club’s activities which helped students get an insight into the intricacies of the world of entrepreneurs.
The ED club is a vibrant family which is always on the lookout for new opportunities to enhance the skill of students.
